Adding Reusable Blocks to the WordPress Admin Menu
I building a new WordPress website. During this build, I have made a lot of use of Guttenberg’s reusable blocks. However, every time you want to make a change to a reusable block you have to go to a post or page, add a new block, Click Browse all, Select the new reusable block tab and then manage all reusable blocks. Its a bit longwinded to make a small amend. I wanted to work out how I could add the Reusable Blocks to the WordPress Admin Menu.
To make this easier, I installed the Admin Menu Plugin and added a custom link to the URL “/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wp_block” (without quotes) this enables you to Add Reusable Blocks to the WordPress Admin Menu. Doing this gives you easy access to something I have found ultra-handy during this site development.
